Things to keep in mind with your CNC cut parts

The CNC machine is limited to simple, 2-dimensional, perpendicular cuts.

The minimum part size for the CNC router is 1” x 2”.

Due to tooling limitations, the minimum inside diameter is one-eighth of 3MM.

Due to the manufacturing process, your finished parts may have small witness marks or steps on the edges and light burning on both the inside and outside of the part.

All parts machined using the CNC router will have small fixturing tabs remaining on the edges.

What are the standard production times?
Your estimated shipping date is dynamically calculated in your shopping cart as you add parts and services. Generally, production times for standard orders, excluding additional services such as bending or finishing, range from 2-4 business days prior to shipping.
How can I get a discount on my order?
Discounts based on quantity are automatically calculated during the quoting process. As you add parts to your cart, you'll notice discounts of 20% or more when you order two or more identical parts in most materials. For even more substantial savings, consider signing up for our mailing list to receive notifications about exclusive, limited-time offers!
What are the order limits for the number of parts?
At our facility, we accept orders ranging from a single piece . With no minimum order requirement, you can request precisely the number of parts your project requires.
What are tabs, and how can they be removed from my parts?
We use tabs to secure your parts within the parent sheet during laser cutting, waterjet cutting, or CNC routing, preventing them from moving or falling out. To remove these tabs, you can sand them off manually or use a metal file. Please note that our service does not include custom placement of tabs or adjustments to their lead-in/out positions.
Will there be any taper on my parts?
Yes, parts that are thicker than 0.250 inches may exhibit a slight taper from top to bottom. The extent of the taper increases with the thickness of the material. While CraftCutCreate’s advanced laser cutting and waterjet cutting technologies significantly reduce the amount of taper, it is important to note that completely eliminating taper is not possible.
Why am I unable to select a material for my project?
If you're unable to select a material for your part, it's often due to the part size being either too large or too small for the available materials. Please verify that your design file is set up at a 1:1 scale and is in either inches or millimeters. After uploading your file, also ensure that the correct unit of measurement is selected to match your design specifications.
